Theo Woods*
Theo began his career in the financial planning business in October of 1980. In 1981, he founded Woods Associates only 2 short years after graduating with a double major from Ohio Wesleyan University.
In August of 2004, Theo and his wife celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. His lovely wife, Beth Woods, is from the Chautauqua Lake area of New York. They have 3 grown and married daughters as well as two grandchildren. Theo currently serves on numerous boards in the Akron area as well as nationally. He is currently chairing one and serving as an officer on several others. He enjoys traveling, reading, visiting places of historic significance, and collecting watches among other things.
Woods Associates has always served predominately in the senior market and specializes in money in transition via business sales, retirement or early retirement, settlements and inheritances just to mention a few. Theo is licensed with the State of Ohio in the Life & Health Insurance and Annuity industry as well as being a Registered Investment Advisor. He is also securities licensed in the great states of CA, CT, FL, IL, NJ, NY, NC, OH, VA & WV.
